First, we must understand that ego is not a “bad boy”, it is not something that needs to be gotten out of the way. However, when it is allowed to dominate our lives, it can lead to negative results. An ego can keep your consciousness focused on the physical reality in the way you have chosen. That is why the ego needs to be kept balanced because it is our sense of "I" and where our consciousness exists. Moreover, the ego is “You”, your identity. “You” as the child of your parents, you as the descendant of your ancestors, you as the citizen of your country, you as a part of this planet, you as a human being. But, at the same time, there are other “You” images of you formed in the minds of others and your own mind. These images can force multiple egos that ultimately play a role in ensuring different reflections of yourself that sometimes are not real. You can call them anyhow you want; some call them alter egos.
Conceptualizing the ego as above is not a problem by itself, but the "ego force" is. It is the root cause of resistance to your "life force" and therefore becomes responsible for all the negative and psychological suffering. The ego forces are a strong sense of "I" that causes you to disconnect from "wholeness". and his can lead to a cycle imbalancement. To dissolve the ego force, you need to balance your sense of "I" with your wholeness (life-space). This will allow your life force to take over rather than your ego force. Your life force is your true self, the wholeness of you. When your life force is in full control, you will naturally live a life that is aligned with your true self.
It is important to be aware of the ego force and to avoid falling into the trap of reinforcing it. For example, you should not interpret these pointers as an ego-enhancing technique. Instead, see them as an indicator of a state free of ego-force domination. Lastly, mirroring your own ego is highly personal because it can only be seen truly by you. So as a form of self-checking think about testing your desirable ego from time to time in order to be kept in the same line with your true self.
